We are a team of professionals trained in Japanese manufacturing techniques, providing consulting for the design and manufacturing of Andon Systems.
In 1998, the idea for Andon Technologies began when we studied Andon systems and their benefits across more than 30 companies in Japan. From automobile manufacturers like TOYOTA, NISSAN, HONDA, microchip makers OKI, the bullet train workshops, TOTO, NIPPON STEEL, to the most modest companies — all of them used Andon systems in their processes. We observed that the key to their success was that "the Japanese did not use the most sophisticated Andon systems — they used simple Andon systems that people understand faster."
After 20 years we fully reaffirm that theory of simplicity, as our equipment continues to operate in plants around the world. Over the years, foreign competitors made the mistake of offering overly sophisticated and very expensive equipment, which ended up abandoned due to their complex design and the difficulty of maintaining them.
In 1999 we returned to Mexico and saw that there was a great lack of awareness about the power of this tool. That is when the need was born to offer, from the start, an Andon system that was easy to use and maintain, accessible to any factory in Mexico. Today we continue to improve our solutions and we believe our Andon systems are the best and easiest to implement in the world.
